Hooray, another Tintin piece! Well, we didn't have to wait too long for that, did we?

But seriously, that was very fine...although you know me, I could've stood for it to be triple the length. Funnily enough, I never really thought about the way Herge situates Tintin in the world of belief and politics, before -- now I find I can't stop thinking about it. As always, you bring it back so neatly to the magical eyes of the child: the bottlecap collection, indeed. Very nicely stated, Jim!
Now...maybe next time you'll do The Shooting Star, or King Ottokar's Sceptre? I could easily read another ten thousand words from you on the subject of Tintin, it's always such a pleasure.
