You know, now that I think about it...Bendis would probably be great on Blue Devil.
With thought-balloons.
Wouldn't he? A friend lent me Fortune and Glory, Bendis's early comic about his attempts to sell his screenplay in Hollywood--funny stuff. And not a bad fit with Blue Devil--a book starring a Hollywood special effects guy/stuntman who becomes a goofy superhero.
P.S. I've missed thought balloons; glad they're making a comeback!
